The Grand Hyatt Hotel on Union Square underwent a $10 million renovation in 1999 that included a $2.2 investment in Grandviews their new rooftop restaurant and received AAA's prestigious Four Diamond Award for the ninth consecutive year. The restaurant's panoramic views of greaterc San Francisco 36 floors above Union Square are breathtaking and include the Pacific Ocean, the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz, the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge as well as various cityscape views. The hotel has the largest Les Clef d'Or staff in North America to help their guests with dinner reservations, theater tickets, wine tours, on-site baby- sitting services and almost any other need.

Grand Hyatt Hotel Location

The 36-story Grand Hyatt Hotel has 685 rooms. As part of a $10 million renovation in August 1999, every guestroom was updated. The hotel includes several levels of guestroom services including the ultra-private Regency Club with 67 rooms and suites on the 31st through 33rd floors. Business Class upgraded rooms are located on the 26th through 29th floors. Business-Class rooms include additional features specifically for the business traveler including a desk with enhanced lighting, telephone with data port, fax machine and supplies. Business-Class guests also have access to a printer and a copy machine located on the 29th floor.

Grand Hyatt Hotel Accommodations

Access to the guest rooms and suites on the 31st through 34th floors are restricted to Regency Club guests. Guests on these floors enjoy a complimentary European-style breakfast each morning including fresh fruit, whole grains, pastries, juices and coffee. Hot and cold hors d'oeuvres are available in the evening with a full honor bar. The Grand Hyatt Hotel's most luxurious suites are located on the 34th Floor. Two of these six penthouse suites have a Victorian flair complete with canopy beds. The four remaining penthouse suites have an Oriental flair with authentic Asian antiques and porcelain artifacts.

The Grandviews Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Steak and seafood specialties are served for dinner with piano entertainment. The Grandviews Lounge serves cocktails and appetizers and offers Jazz entertainment.

The hotel has a 2,000-square-foot health club and meeting space totaling 22,000 square feet.
